Biography
Hailing from Rockford, Illinois, Lola Blu is a rising country-rock artist known for her gritty, unmistakable voice and high-energy live shows that blur the line between concert and full-blown party. Blending outlaw country with southern rock attitude, she delivers songs rooted in real-life chaos, love, heartbreak, freedom, and nights you don’t quite remember but won’t ever forget.
Backed by her powerhouse band - Matt Zito (lead guitar), Tate Medina (rhythm guitar), Logan Taylor (bass), and Joe Klaff (drums). Lola brings a no-breaks, no-filler energy to every stage. Whether it’s a packed bar, festival crowd, or opening slot for national acts, the mission is the same: keep the party going.
Her live reputation has earned her direct support slots for artists like Terri Clark, Trey Lewis, Tanner Usrey, Walker Montgomery, Mackenzie Carpenter & more, while her growing fanbase continues to expand across the Midwest and into southern markets.
Lola’s momentum is backed by major recognition, including multiple Josie Music Award nominations and being named 2024 Breakthrough Artist of the Year by the Midwest Country Music Organization. In 2025, she added nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist, and Maverick of the Year, solidifying her as one of the region’s fastest-rising acts.
