Meet the Boys!!!
Tate Medina
Rhythm Guitar/ Vocals
Tate Medina is a rhythm guitarist based out of Dixon, Illinois. An aspiring scarecrow with a taste for whiskey, neat. He draws deep influence from the 1970s folk and soft-rock movements of Laurel Canyon, along with the new wave sounds of the late ’70s and early ’80s. His inspirations include Robin Pecknold, George Harrison, Tyler Childers, Adrianne Lenker, and Michael Nesmith.
Tate has played in a handful of bands over the years and is currently the rhythm guitarist/ backing vocalist for Lola Blu and is also 1/3 of the folk band Beacon Hill. His playing is rhythm-driven, dynamic, lush, and often carries a melancholic edge. At just 14, he performed on stage as a guest guitarist with the alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs. These days, you can probably catch him listening to The Lemon Twigs.

Joseph klaff
Drums/ Percussion
Joseph Klaff is a high quality drummer that is most known for his live and studio works with Chicago folk rock band Sunflower Headlights, singer-songwriter Marcus Bailey, and country rock artist Lola Blu. After growing up in Lemont, IL and attaining his BA in Music and minor in music business from Columbia College Chicago in 2023, he plays regularly around the Chicago land area, the midwest, and touring to other American cities as well. With influences from Bernard Purdi, Joey Jordison, Benny Greb, and so many more, Joe delivers a proper groove through his approach to the kit and expression of dynamics that provide the best feel for the music and setting. Whether it’s rock, country, jazz, funk, latin or anything in between, Joe will encapsulate his own personal style along with classic artistry and extend that through the drums. On stage you’ll catch him drinking a coors lite, or anything strong. One of his favorite bands is Knuckle Puck. When he’s not on stage you can find him teaching drums, running sound, and making music with anyone who’s looking for a groove.
